    A new, junior team is starting up in Boulder, the Flatiron Flyers which appears from the information I have received to be a team for new juniors or for juniors that probably will not someday race in the TDF… kind of like 99% of the cycling teams in Colorado, except this one targets youth. Read more

        Local cat 1 rider, Whitey DeBroux tells about how Tyler Hamilton will be riding domestic in 08. Tyler has had is black mark in the media and courts for his suspension for blood doping but whether you believe it or not it is great to see that after all of that noise in his career HE STUCK to it! Some will say he should have ended his career years ago and go out like a champion but I want to know is how do those “champions” quit so easily, especially those riders who receive suspensions and quit? Read more

          • City Meeting on Future of Valmont Park Jan 28

            To prevent me from getting the story wrong (as I did with the ACA Annoucement) I will quote what I got from the Boulder MountainBike Alliance (BMA)

            On Monday, January 28, at 6pm in City Council Chambers, the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will consider the recommendation to City Council regarding the design of Valmont Park. This is a meeting where encouragement is the order of the day. We need to demonstrate our support and pleasure at progress of this kind. There are strategies being considered that will accelerate the development of this park and it’s facilities. We turn out in numbers when there’s a crisis, this is a rare occasion to do the opposite…heap praise! Read more
