Triny Willerton and IT COULD BE ME and The Story Behind the New Video
Submitted by Bill Plock on January 19th, 2021n June of 2018 we met Triny Willerton a few days after she was hit by a motorist and nearly killed. The original information from Police of how it happened were false and did not include Triny’s side of the story. Eventually the truth came out and the driver was charged. But the effect this had on Triny was astounding and led to a movement she created called “It Could Be Me.” She crusades to do everything possible to help makes roads safer for cyclists and vulnerable road users. She played an instrumental role in pushing for legislation in 2019 that greatly increased the penalties for drivers who injure or kill vulnerable road users. Read more
Cyclist hit by a car May 8th—the whole story now…
Submitted by 303cycling on June 4th, 2018Triny Wellerton continues to recover from the life threatening injuries she sustained when she was hit on her bike in early May. Although the crash was not her fault, initial reports suggested it was. The investigation is still open. Read more
