Boulder County is reminding cyclists that Four Mile Canyon and Gold Run are closed due to construction.
From the Times-Call
Starting Wednesday morning, Fourmile Canyon Drive will be closed to recreational cycling between Boulder Canyon Drive/Colo. 119 and the Sunset townsite from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
Cycling also will be restricted along Gold Run Road from Salina Junction to just south of Gold Hill during those daytime weekday hours, Boulder County Transportation Department spokesman Andrew Barth announced in a Tuesday news release.
The restrictions, being enacted due to safety concerns stemming from construction activity taking place in the area, will be enforced by the sheriff’s office until officials deem the area once again safe for cycling.
