Golden Bike Shop, the Front Range’s foremost dealer of premium mountain bikes and mountain bike gear has an immediate opening for a full-time, year-round, Operations Associate.
The Operations Associate works with the Operations Manager to support the sales and service teams and ensure they can provide efficient, consistent, and high-quality customer experiences to our guests.
Primary responsibilities include:
-Shipping and receiving
-Inbound customer contact by phone and email
-Problem-solving/firefighting in support of the sales and service departments
-Prior specialty/outdoor retail experience required
-Bike shop experience strongly preferred
-Ideal candidate has prior experience with purchasing/inventory control.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google apps equivalents and familiarity with retail -POS/inventory management software required
-Strong Excel/Sheets skills strongly preferred
-Ideal candidate will have prior experience utilizing the back end of Lightspeed POS
-Candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
-Candidate must have exceptional customer service skills
-Candidate must be able to collaboratively problem-solve in a fast-paced work environment
-Ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of cycling and cycling technology, particularly with regard to modern, high-end, full-suspension mountain bikes
-Prior mechanic experience a plus
Compensation and benefits:
-$16-$18 per hour depending on qualifications
