To Our Colorado Athletes Competing in Kona:
On behalf of IRONMAN and 303Triathlon, we would like to CONGRATULATE you on this significant achievement of qualifying for the IRONMAN World Championships. For some of you, this is familiar ground. For others, these are the culminating steps of a dream many years in the making.
Our great state of Colorado sends 61 qualified athletes to Kona this year, up from 58 last year! We are the second most-represented state in the union, behind only California. As an optimal training ground, and majestic place to live, it’s no wonder our state is known as the hub of triathlon.
We thank you for representing, and bringing such pride to all the folks back home.
To show our gratitude and support, we have assembled a few gifts for you. We would love to present you with these tokens, and take your photo during Kona week on the big island. Your photo will be featured on 303Triathlon.com in a series that highlights World Champions from Colorado.
We will be set up at the famous Lava Java coffee house (75-5799 Ali`i Drive) Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.* Stop by and see us, collect your gift, and allow us to congratulate you in person.
