Planet Cyclery is seeking a 6+ month experienced Sales and Customer Service Associate for our day to day operations. This position has a diverse range of responsibilities. Primarily responsible for providing excellent client service via email, online chat, social media, and phone. The customer service agent will resolve a variety of customer inquiries such as booking appointments, updating financial information, and resolving client concerns using the appropriate channels. Job Requirements:
6 plus months of sales and customer service
Experience with Zendesk and Shipstation or similar programs
Prior bike industry experience is a huge plus
Weekend availability is needed
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide initial contact to web form clients via email and phone
Provide initial contact to online chat inquiries via our Live Chat application
Up-sell and cross-sell while providing outstanding client service experience
Evaluate client situations and needs while setting up maintenance calls and other appointments to set the stage before a technician goes to their home
Field general customer inquiries, answer contract questions, troubleshoot minor problems, and resolve concerns for long-term resolution
Monitor online reputation for customers posting positive and negative feedback
Utilize resource documentation for reference and the provided automated & training tools to deliver exceptional customer service
Demonstrate positive & cooperative behavior with customers and coworkers
Must cooperate inter-departmentally to resolve and execute duties, while meeting or exceeding clients’ expectations
Provide timely feedback to company regarding service failures or client concerns
Must be “clocked in” and ready to start responding to messages and emails, as scheduled
Complete training requirements to stay updated on existing/new systems & products, to develop skills, and to maintain alignment with company values and organizational requirements
All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by supervisor/manager
