Peak Cycles is one of Colorado’s most prominent bike shops and an integral part of the Golden cycling community. Our Mechanics are responsible for providing industry knowledge and advice to all levels of cyclist.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Interface with the customer to assess bike and equipment needs to match all riding styles and levels.
Ensure that each and every customer is provided a basic fit to size the right bike.
Complete accurate inventory adds, updates and changes.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource to customers.
Demonstrate a professional standard of customer service.
Remain current on industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products.
Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques.
Communicate with store management to achieve a seamless customer experience and maximize profitability.
Minimum of 2 years bike Repair experience in a retail store – required.
Ability to service Road and Mountain Bikes.
Experience with Di2, ETap, and Electric Bikes a plus.
Previous experience with various bike industry.
Passion for cycling / bicycles.
Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods – required.
Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English – required.
Basic computer skills.
Commitment to exceptional customer service.
Ability to work a flexible schedule; with Saturday generally required.
