Each year riders from all over the country participate in Colorado’s Ride the Rockies and Pedal the Plains. But they won’t be in 2020–like so many events. In this episode of 303 Garage Talks, tour director Deirdre Moynihan shares not only the reasons behind cancelling this year’s rides but reveals some plans for next year. She also compares and contrasts the communities and the impact between the two events that are put on by the Denver Post Community Foundation. Many local non-profits hugely benefit from these rides. Ride the Rockies started in 1986 and Pedal the Plains in 2012. You will of course learn more about Deirdre, why she loves what she does and about her background in theater and love of animals. Have a watch!
