Stand up paddle boarding instead of swimming? The bike ride never leaves the park? Camp before the race, stay overnight to celebrate afterwards? Who knows what is in store for subsequent years, but on September 7, triathlon comes to Boyd Lake located East of Loveland with the Boyd Lake Bash Triathlon Festival co-hosted by Without Limits Productions and Breakaway Athletic Events.
This race has a lot of potential for growth and some alternative racing in the future. Boyd Lake’s beauty, awesome beaches and warm water make it a great family destination and provides an inviting venue for all types of athletes.
