The Pro’s Closet (TPC) was founded on an obsession with cycling and sustainability. We believe we can make the world a better place by getting more people on bikes, and by repurposing the abundance of high-quality bikes and parts that are already out there. Clearly, a lot of people think like we do because we are experiencing phenomenal growth, and are on the lookout for highly talented, like-minded people who want to take part in our mission: to change the way people buy and sell bikes.
THE ROLE
As a Bicycle Technician, you have the opportunity to work on the highest quality of bikes across all years, makes and models. At the TPC, you enjoy the workload of a bike shop with the pace of a startup that fosters a unique culture of empowerment. You are part of a proactive team environment that involves a “continuous improvement” approach in everything we do and plays a part in the disruption of the bike industry.
With access to the best tools and technology in the industry, our Bicycle Technicians enjoy industry leading compensation, great benefits and ownership in the company via stock grants. Our Technicians are not customer-facing, allowing for flexible scheduling and frequent team building activities, including weekly group rides.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Inspecting and tuning road and mountain bikes to a high standard.
Cleaning frames, wheels and small components to company standards.
Demonstrating proficiency with our computer systems and software.
Schedule may include weekend hours.

You have professional experience wrenching in a bike shop and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have high standards, strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. You are excited to work in a high growth business and have a desire to wrench on all kinds of bikes year-round. You enjoy a team environment, as well as working on your own, and are interested in constantly developing your skills. And obviously, you love bikes.
