Omnium Series – Friday Night Crit, Street Sprints and Saturday Time Trial are a GO!

Dear Colorado Road Cyclist,

It’s time to find that time-trial helmet and dust off those race wheels because this Saturday is the “race of truth”!  Please be sure to review the notes below to be race ready and we’ll see you on the start line.
Weather for Friday Night: Grab a rain coat and some hand warmers because we’re racing Friday.  There’s a lot of rumors floating around out there, but here’s our production team’s official statement “It won’t be as muddy as Koppenberg-2017, as windy as OZ-2016, or as cold as the Uni Hill Criterium-2011”.  Follow our social media accounts and don’t believe what other cyclists say until you see the printed news.  Your competition is scared of a little snow & water, but you’re not and neither is our production crew.
SATURDAY TIME TRIAL:
Number and timing chip pick-up:  You must pick up your race number (number on the right) and a timing chip 15 min prior to your start time.  If you’re racing the team time-trial event after the individual time-trial note that you’ll receive a new number and timing chip.  Everyone on the team receives a number and timing chip.  No chip = regulated to last place.
Directions back to the start line from the finish for team time-trial start: You just finished and you’re foaming at the mouth.  Be sure to return your timing chip then keep riding east on South Boulder Rd. to McCaslin.  Head south on McCaslin (be careful of the busy intersections) and then turn left on Marshall rd back to Panda Express.
