Cyclist injured in hit-and-run near IBM north of Boulder

This terrible hit-and-run happened yesterday shortly after most cycling groups were completing typical Saturday morning rides in and out of Tom Watson Park, including many group rides training for Ironman Boulder. 303 is seeking more information.

From the Daily Camera

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the hit and run of cyclist that happened near Monarch Road and the IBM plant at about 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Trooper Alisha Danko said the cyclist was taken to Boulder Community Health with unknown injuries. No information on the vehicle that fled the scene was immediately available.

The agency announced in a tweet that the suspect is possibly a man driving a dark green work truck with ladder racks who fled westbound on Monarch and then southbound on 63rd Street. The truck might have damage to the right front corner.

More information will be released when it becomes available.
