Details: Your number one responsibility as a course marshal is to make sure that riders are safe. You will be stationed at one of the various course marshal locations along the Gold Rush Bike Rally course. You’ll be required to drive out to the location and wave riders through, cheer them on and direct them through the turn. There are two course options for riders and the duration of each course marshal shift varies. Please check out our volunteer registration page for complete hours and locations. Important: You will be required to attend a short (20 minute) briefing meeting before the race which will take place on either 8/26 or 8/27 in North Boulder. You will be briefed on instructions and given your materials to take with you. You must have a cell phone and a vehicle to sign up for this position.

Note: This is a rain or shine event. Please bring sunscreen, a chair and comfortable clothes!
