Boulder resident Erin Carson, has become an athlete to pay attention to.  Along with other amazing Colorado athletes, Erin earned a slot to complete at the 70.3 World Championship race on the Sunshine Coast of Australia in Mooloolaba, Queensland on September 4th.

Like so many of us, she balances training with family and work.  Perhaps to her advantage, she works daily with professional athletes as the long time GM and Fitness Director at Boulder’s RallySport Heath & Fitness Club and Co-Owner of ECFIT.  Her ECFIT clients include World Champion Triathletes Mirinda Carfrae, Tim O’Donnell, Flora Duffy and Cameron Dye as well as many local accomplished age group athletes.

A former basketball international will have some high profile pro triathletes taking special interest in her IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship debut on the Sunshine Coast in just a few weeks. Erin Carson became interested in the sport after taking up the role as strength and conditioning coach for three-time IRONMAN world champion Mirinda Carfrae and husband, 2015 Hawaii podium star (and multiple IRONMAN champion) Tim O’Donnell.
Carson is the co-owner of ECFIT Boulder, in Boulder, Colorado. She began to take triathlon more seriously since taking up the role four years ago, and it wasn’t long before the teacher became the student. With a few tips from Carfrae and O’Donnell and coaching direction from another triathlon legend—former Olympic distance world champion and leading coach Siri Lindley—Carson set her sights on qualifying for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.
