Altitude Multisport Club‘s nominations for Board positions are underway and we are looking for a Coaching Director for the club. This is a volunteer position and the club is located in South Metro Denver (Parker, Castle Rock, Aurora, Lone Tree). Altitude Multisport is in its 6th season with approximately 75 members. We have all ranges of athletes, from novice to Kona Qualifiers. We are definitely more on the social spectrum of clubs and are looking for a Coaching Director who will plan our club’s workouts for the year, coordinate with our other volunteer coaches and activity leads to execute workouts, and lead clinics.
Coaching Director is a Board Member position. The requirements, per the bylaws are:
- Responsible for organizing club workouts and assigning individuals to lead workouts
- Required to maintain at least USA Triathlon Level 1 coaching certification
- Organizes workshops and clinics for club members
We am also asking each board member to participate in at least one club workout per month and select a race in which they’d like to set up the club tent and spectate. You also need to be able to attend 2/3 of the board meetings, which are typically held on the 2nd Monday of each month.
