Crews from Lawrence Construction have begun work on a $10.7 million year-long flood-recovery project in Boulder County’s Lower Fourmile Canyon.

The work — the final flood recovery-related construction project in Fourmile Canyon — involves reconstructing the roadway and drainage systems in two sections of the lower portion of Fourmile Canyon Drive between Colo. 119/Boulder Canyon Drive and Salina Junction, according to the Boulder County Transportation Department.
Lawrence Construction, a Littleton company, has started construction in a south section of Fourmile Canyon Drive about a mile north of Colo. 119 extending to Poorman Road.
