2019 Strider Cup Racing

Boulder

We’re back! That’s right, we’re returning to Boulder for the second race in the 2019 Strider Cup Racing series. We’ll be back at Boulder Civic Area (Central Park), 1056 Boulder Canyon Dr. on June 15th, 2019. Strider Cup Races give kiddos a chance to put their Strider skills to the test at several stops across the United States and the world. This unique race series caters directly to children 2-6 years old who want to experience the thrill of racing. Children of all sizes and skill levels are welcome to participate.

The goal of the LMBS is to provide a low key and inexpensive evening of bike racing for all levels of mountain bikers. With a relaxed atmosphere, there is still quality and competitive racing. This is a great series for first timers through pro riders. Courses are new each race. We strive for course lengths and technical difficulties that match the categories racing them.

  1. The Full Deal — This includes staying in the OTC dorms for two nights, eating up to 7 meals at the OTC cafeteria, and participating in 4 sessions of track riding and racing. The cost is $125 per participant. The sticking point here is that the rider must be physically at least 12 (not racing age 12) on 3/8/19. They have rules about minimum ages to stay in the dorm.
  2. The Meals Only Deal — For this, a rider meets everyone at the OTC for all the meals, but stays somewhere else arranged by their family. The cost for this is $90.
  3. Track Sessions Only — For this one, the rider arrives and is picked up from the velodrome directly and only participates in the track sessions. The cost is $50.
