A 35-year-old cyclist died from injuries sustained in a crash northeast of Boulder on Monday that Colorado State Patrol investigators say likely occurred when he turned left in front of an oncoming vehicle.
Colorado State Patrol Trooper Josh Lewis said the crash at 63rd Street and Jay Road was reported at 9:02 a.m. Monday.
The cyclist, who was from Boulder, was stopped in the left turn lane on westbound Jay at 63rd, Lewis said, while a Subaru driven by a 61-year-old woman was traveling east on Jay.

The Daily Camera has reported that a cyclist died of injuries today from being hit by a car at approximately 9:00 this morning. The driver of the car was a 61-year-old woman, who remained on the scene and cooperated.
