Just finished watching the Division II women finish on the Live Streaming for Collegiate National racing today. They have some great announcing with Dave T. at the mic and the quality isn't bad. Men's A racing starts in just a few minutes (11am). Stop surfing YouTube today and check out high quality racing taking place right now in the northern part of our state in Fort Collins Colorado. Boulder Short Track all Summer Long

Just saw this on the CU Cycling web site:

Now that summer is back, so is the CU Cycling Summer Short Track Series. You all remember the course from last year at the Research Park. The series is every Wednesday from May 20 to August 12. Again we'll have Full Cycle around providing band-aids, brats, and a few bikes to demo. As usual, registration starts at 4:45 PM. Entry fees are $12, and one-day licenses will be available for $5. We'll have more details up soon, both here and on our events page. See you Wednesday!

Collegiate Road Nationals
The biggest cycling event in Colorado this weekend is the Collegiate Road Nationals in Fort Collins. There will be great racing, spectating and fun rides for all cyclist.

Wheels of Thunder Race
New venue this year but I do think the course has been raced before, just not as the Wheels of Thunder Race. Details of the race can be found on their race flyer

Front Range 50
Warriors Cycling and The Rocky Mountain Ultra Series is proud to introduce the 2nd annual Front Range 50 Endurance Race, which will be the 2nd stop of the RMU Regional Championship Series. Check out their website for more details

Good article today in the New York Times about bicycle design. From the article:

Professional cycling is in a heated struggle among its governing body, its teams and the companies that manufacture expensive equipment over what is a legal racing bike.

The International Cycling Union abruptly alerted teams at the start of this season that it intends to clarify and reinterpret its often oblique rules governing bicycle design through increased equipment inspections.
