What’s Happening in Road Racing from Colorado Cycling

“Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these coureurs from the swift completion of their appointed laps.” Or something like that. Isn’t that the cyclist’s creed? It certainly got put to the test last weekend in Littleton. Plenty of rain and some delays, but in the end all of the events took place. Thanks Chip Brunk and Physio Racing for once again putting on the biggest criterium in the state. It was part of the USA Crits series, and as such brought top pro riders in from around the country.

The Pro Men’s race came down to a field sprint as usual. Cory Williams (L3GION of LA) took the win over Thomas Gibbons (Automatic Racing) and Tyler Williams (L3GION of LA). The top Colorado rider was Noah Granigan (Wildlife Generation) in 4th.

The Pro Women’s race also finished in a field sprint with Skylar Schneider (L3GION of LA) taking the win over our own Olivia Cummins (LUX) and Harriet Owen (Instafund Racing). Great job all.
