USA Cycling Master Championships, 105 Podium Spots to Coloradans–25 Firsts

Colorado Springs was the sight of the USA Cycling Masters Road Championships this past weekend, starting last Thursday and finishing up on Sunday. The first race was a time trial, then a road race and finally a criterium. Between the three races and all the different age groups and categories, there were 280 podium spots up for grabs. With racers from all over the country, to have over a third of the top finishers from Colorado speaks well to our cycling community. Of course being hosted in Colorado has it’s advantages!
