The inaugural Colorado Classic will feature yet another first: Team Rwanda will be competing in their first UCI-sanctioned race in the United States.
Founded in 2007 by industry legend, Jock Boyer, Team Rwanda has since grown to more than 35 cyclists, both men and women, representing all levels and disciplines. Team Rwanda is now an internationally competitive team, racing in some of the largest international races.
Before they take on the Classic, the team plans to participate in at least one U.S. race, and will begin training in Colorado August 1st.
