• What’s Happening in Road Racing from Colorado Cycling

    “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these coureurs from the swift completion of their appointed laps.” Or something like that. Isn’t that the cyclist’s creed? It certainly got put to the test last weekend in Littleton. Plenty of rain and some delays, but in the end all of the events took place. Thanks Chip Brunk and Physio Racing for once again putting on the biggest criterium in the state. It was part of the USA Crits series, and as such brought top pro riders in from around the country.  Read more

    • Latest News from Colorado Cycling and Upcoming Cycling Races

      Although a little later in the season than usual, the umpteenth annual Frostbite TT took place this past Sunday. Riders enjoyed the best weather ever for this event, and our medical providers reported no cases of frostbite 😉
      Thirty different Colorado Cycling clubs were represented on the podiums during the day, with BJC, Old School Industries, and Racer X topping the leader boards with four podiums apiece. There were five clubs that got to stand on the top podium twice during the day — Rally Sport, Palmares, ALP Cycles, Racer X, and Stages.
      George Simpson (Project Echelon) set the fast time with a blistering 22:21. Julie Emmerman (Rally Sport) scorched the rest of the Pro women’s field with a 25:00. Read more

                …rides are often a great source of frustration to motorists, especially in areas such as canyon roads, where there is little room to pass or no bike lane or shoulder for cyclists.
