      The Colorado Classic begins on Thursday in Steamboat. This is a historical event for cycling in Colorado. It’s the first time for a women’s only professional bike race in the Western Hemisphere.       • Open Streets Denver’ and Bike Expo Highlight Family-Friendly Colorado Classic Event

        The race is bringing Open Streets Denver to the city on Sunday August 25 (from 10:45 am to 12:30 pm), a unique event where eight downtown city blocks will be closed to motor vehicles for nearly two hours but open to anyone and everyone to bike, scoot, walk, blade, run or hop through downtown without concern for automobile traffic. Read more
