Social Media Specialist: TrainingPeaks

Are you an expert when it comes to engaging on social media channels like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram? Do you have a passion for endurance sports? If this is you, please read on! TrainingPeaks is seeking a Social Media Specialist to coordinate and promote our content across social media channels and engage with our customers, influencers and partners.

This role will report to the Digital Marketing Manager, and will work closely with the Marketing, Creative, and Customer Success Teams.  The Social Media Specialist will also be responsible for helping create and implement our social media and advocacy strategies, engaging with the greater community of our athletes, coaches, and industry partners.

TrainingPeaks provides the complete web, mobile and desktop solution for enabling smart and effective endurance training. Our products include TrainingPeaks.com Athlete and Coach Edition, WKO+ desktop software for cutting-edge scientific analysis and planning, and the TrainingPeaks mobile apps for iOS and Android. TrainingPeaks solutions are used by Tour de France teams, IRONMAN® World Champions, Olympians, athletes and coaches around the world to track, analyze and plan their training.

Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and share TrainingPeaks blog articles, training resources, specific campaign content, and partner content across all of our social media channels.
-Promote TrainingPeaks’ content through social media advertising.
-Track and analyze social media and advocacy analytics and utilize the data to gain insights and positively affect future outcomes.
-Monitor and reply to customer questions and concerns on social platforms.
-Identify opportunities to engage with potential customers around training and racing.
-Engage with influencers and partners to help grow and maintain relationships.
-Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices.
-Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
-Minimum 2-3 years of social media marketing experience.
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
-Experience using major social media platforms in a business setting.
-Experience with social media advertising.
-Experience with brand advocacy programs.
-Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
-Positive attitude and customer oriented.
-Passion for endurance sports.

Desired Qualifications:
-Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, TweetDeck, etc.)
-Customer service experience.
-Experience using TrainingPeaks’ products and services.
-Experience using Google Analytics and other social media analysis tools.
