Ever wanted to give cyclocross a whirl? Here’s your chance!
This Saturday, October 22nd at the Alexander Dawson School Campus in Lafayette is the well-known SchoolYard Cross. Known for its varied terrain, mix of grass and pavement, never ever first-time racers will have their one-day race license fees waived.
Expert riders will lead a course preview and provide tips.
Serious racers can expect podium prizes and a $1,000 pro cash purse.
With this year’s harvest theme there is more fun to be had for racers and spectators with the bike powered apple press, bake sale and pickle contest! Don’t miss it!
