Safe Streets Day at the Capitol

As a bicyclist, do you feel safe on our roads, or would you like to see stronger laws in place to protect vulnerable users such as cyclists and pedestrians? Would you like to see more progressive laws in Colorado, such as adopting our own ‘Idaho stop’ law? Bicycle Colorado, your statewide bicycle advocacy group, is working to do just that–but they need your help!

Be a part of democracy in action at their Safe Streets Day at the Capitol!

Details:
Tuesday, February 27
8-10 a.m.
Colorado State Capitol,
200 East Colfax,
Denver, CO 80203

The event is free, but they do need everyone to register HERE  so that you can be matched with your legislators and make sure to order you breakfast. Come meet with your state legislators and share your personal story about why bicycling and safer streets are important to YOU. Bicycle Colorado will also provide talking points to help guide you through current legislation.

Read more about what to expect HERE . See you on Tuesday, February 27!
