Roll Massif Adds Enchanted Circle Ride In New Mexico

Boulder, Colorado — April 27, 2021 — Roll Massif, a part of Outside Inc., and collection of Colorado-based cycling events, announced today the acquisition of the Enchanted Circle Bicycle Tour to its lineup for the 2021 season.

The Enchanted Circle Bicycle Tour will take place on August 28, 2021, with an 85-mile and 100-mile ride through some of the most spectacular peaks in New Mexico along the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway.

The course will start and finish in the Town of Red River, and travel through the Village of Questa, Town of Taos, Village of Angel Fire, and Village of Eagle Nest and peak at an elevation of 9,820 feet on Bobcat Pass.

Participants will have the opportunity to ride some of the most scenic areas in the southwest experiencing rewarding climbs, rolling hills, fast descents and hairpin turns. The tour includes full route support, stocked aid stations, music, food and libations.

The Enchanted Circle Bicycle Tour, formerly the Enchanted Circle Century, was previously owned and operated by the Red River Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Town of Red River. The ride will start and finish on Main Street in downtown Red River. The event has been in existence for 40 years. Last year’s event was canceled due to the pandemic.

The course travels through two New Mexico State Parks, by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Angel Fire and over Palo Flechado Pass and Bobcat Pass. Registration is now open at rollmassif.com/enchantedcircle.
