Ridge at 38, Bike Race, Beer, Family Festival, Sunday June 9th

Bikes, Beer and Family-Friendly Fun in Wheat Ridge
Join in on the fun at this year’s Criterium and Brewfest on Sunday, June 9 from 9am to 6pm on the Green at Ridge at 38 (7101 W 38th Avenue). This event has something for everyone in the family. The criterium bike races will take place on a fast, 1-mile course in the heart of Wheat Ridge. Participating cyclists ride as many laps of the circuit as possible within the time limit, ensuring a lot of action and excitement for spectators and athletes. This year, this race once again acts as the Colorado Criterium State Championships.

Back this year is a brewfest featuring eleven local breweries showcasing their best summer beers. Not a beer drinker? No problem! This year, Decadent Saint Winery will be offering sangria samples as part of the brewfest. The festival area surrounds the start/finish line of the race, so attendees can grab a drink and head over to the course to watch the action.
For the little ones, the festival features a kids’ zone with a bouncy castle, face painting and water games. Attendees can also bring their bikes for the community fun ride at 1:20pm. This is an opportunity to ride around the professional race course and celebrate cycling in Colorado. Come hungry because there will be great food trucks and local restaurants. Finally, the festival also includes an outdoor expo with local recreation and wellness vendors offering great products and services.
