Project Recycle – Volunteers Needed

 

PROJECT RECYCLE is a Colorado, Douglas county based 501(c)3 Non-Profit and was founded in 2010 to provide smiles to children all over Colorado via a bicycle. As part of their Dream Bike Program,Gold-Participant Children, during their academic year, are encouraged to earn a bike by improving in 3 areas; Respect, Attendance and Academic Growth.

Project Recycle has a large demand for bicycles but not enough labor to help get bikes out to children in need. Because of the growth they are experiencing, they are in need of your help and support once again.

They are looking for 2 individuals (with strong leadership skills and team player attitude) to lead the shop support teams. In charge of logistics, scheduling, reporting and supervision. interested or questions? CLICK HERE

Additionally, they
are looking for at least 16 folks that can volunteer at least once a month on Wednesday nights 5-7pm and/or Saturdays mornings 9-noon to provide bike shop support. Interested or questions? CLICK HERE

Duties include:
Load/unload bicycles. Inventory and bike Triage support, shop re-organization, bike cleaning and replacing flat tubes, worn tires, torn seats and worn grips. (training provided)
