Project Recycle has a new Executive Director

Welcome to the new ED Jon Buck, and thanks for the years of service to outgoing AJ Stapleton… Read the big news from Project Recycle:

Hello friends,

We as a board are extremely excited to announce the appointment of Jon Buck as the Executive Director of Project Recycle who succeeds AJ Stapleton. Jon moved with his wife Lea to Colorado from South Carolina in 2008 to earn his Masters of Divinity at Denver Seminary and they now call it home with their four children (please read more about Jon – https://projectrecycle.org/about-us/staff/). Jon joins Project Recycle after helping partner with nine churches in Littleton to fund and collaborate with Project ReCycle in order to provide every 5th grader in Littleton’s Title One schools the opportunity of a bicycle.

Jon has founded and led a number of organizations and collaborative initiatives within the Denver area and Project Recycle is excited to continue this passion. Project Recycle looks forward to working with schools and other organizations up and down the Front Range area to positively impact kids lives by offering a bike as an incentive towards better grades, better attendance and better behavior. We share a vision for our organization and look forward to progressing our processes, resources, and capabilities in order to achieve a dream of reaching as many students as possible (dare we say every student) in Title 1 schools in the Denver Metro area with the opportunity of earning a bike.

We are very grateful to AJ Stapleton for his years of service and wisdom in starting and leading Project Recycle to our current position of providing recycled bikes to kids throughout Colorado and world. As AJ transitions to a new chapter of his life we wish him all the best in his new endeavor.

Please join us in welcoming Jon and thanking AJ.
