Marketing Coordinator – PeopleForBikes

PeopleForBikes seeks a creative, organized and enthusiastic marketing coordinator in our Boulder, CO office to join us in our mission to get more people on bikes more often. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and an eagerness to wear many hats as a part of a small, yet dynamic marketing + communications team. They will bring a passion for the position and will be quick, diligent and conscientious about each and every project.

Responsibilities include:
Create and produce both print and digital design materials and marketing collateral, including presentations, website updates, ads, tradeshow artwork, social media and more.
Support marketing team’s efforts for events, partnerships, campaigns, and communications.
Manage online store’s visual presence and create promotional ideas to boost sales.
Manage our Instagram channel as well as support other social media activities on all channels.
Coordinate with external design resources to ensure messaging and creative elements of all marketing and communications are consistent with our overall brand.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field with strong design emphasis. One to three years experience within an agency, marketing firm or client-side marketing department is desired.
Excellent design skills. The candidate should be able to produce a steady stream of print and digital graphics for marketing and other departments as needed. A keen eye for design and experience in photo editing, graphic design and basic HTML is essential.
Experience with both traditional and innovative communications and marketing techniques, with an emphasis on social media, email and content marketing.
Great project management skillset, with the ability to comfortably juggle multiple projects and occasionally work on tight timelines.
Collaborative approach to work—the person will interface with multiple departments and external partners—and super customer service, both internal and external.
A self-starter with extremely strong attention to detail.
Ability to work within larger marketing and communications strategy and ensure that communications adhere to the organization’s writing and design standards.
Willing to travel (may be up to 20% of time.)
Beneficial qualifications:

Photography skills—shooting and editing your own material as well as managing other photographers on-location is a definite plus.
A talent at composing snappy, concise, witty, eye-catching copy for the digital world is highly valued.
Knowledge of and passion for bicycling is a plus, but not required.
Compensation and benefits:

This “at will” position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. In addition, a generous benefits package is offered, which includes health insurance, paid time off and optional participation in a deferred compensation plan.
