Absolute Bikes in Salida, Colorado is looking for an experienced full time mechanic for the 2020 season (the right candidate will be offered year-round/permanent employment). Skills required for this job include: high degree of mechanical proficiency in all aspects of maintenance of modern mountain bikes, thorough service writing, attention to detail, and friendly customer service. We service everything from town cruisers to top-end mountain bikes, road, and gravel bikes. We pride ourselves in treating our equally diverse customer base with respect, friendliness, and good communication.
Salida is a beautiful small town located in the Arkansas River Valley. We’re at the crossroads of both the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route and the American Trail Race route with several nearby access points to the Colorado and Continental Divide Trails. Absolute Bikes is located minutes from one of the town’s local trail systems. Since 1999, our shop has served both local cyclists as well as out-of-town visitors. We’re a Women/Trans/Femme-friendly shop and welcome applications from anyone who fits the above requirements.
