Meet COO of Colorado Classic, Lucy Diaz on 303Radio

In another addition of “The Village” on 303Radio, hosts, Melanie Mitchell, Lisa Ingarfield and Bill Plock chat with Lucy Diaz, Chief Operating Officer of RPM Events, the owners of the Colorado Classic professional women’s bike race.

We discuss the reasons behind making it a women’s only race, the challenges and opportunities that come with that, the sponsors like VF Corp (parent of North Face, Smartwool, Altra and many more brands) and the mission of this race and the hopeful impact on women’s cycling and sport in general.

THE VILLAGE: Co-host Melanie Mitchell of Poppy Sports, Lisa Ingarfield of Outspoken and Bill Plock of 303 Endurance bring you this series to explore some amazing stories and sort through some of the challenges unique to women athletes. Melanie and Lisa bring a world view both as British natives and as involved business leaders in the endurance sports space.
