Join Past Winners and Founders of the Leadville 100 Ultra Running Race to Learn Training Tips and How to Race Your Best Ultra Run
WHAT: Join the Leadville Trail Series at Runners Roost on S. Colorado Blvd in Denver, Colo., for an evening of ultra running tips with past champions, a group run, pizza and beer. All runners and anyone interested in learning more about ultra running are welcome.

– Ian Sharman, 2015 Leadville Trail 100 Champion, (will be Skyped in)
– Kara Henry, 2015 women’s runner up in the Leadville 100 and course record breaker at Silver Rush 50
– Mike Aish- Leadville Trail 100 Runner Up in 2014, Silver Rush Course Record Holder 2015, Olympic Athlete for New Zealand
– Junko Kazukawa, two –time Leadwoman winner and Runner’s Roost athlete
– Dave Mackey and Bob Africa, Leadman experts and incredible endurance athletes.
– Ryan Krol, Leadville Run Coach and 2015 Leadman finisher.
– Founders of the Leadville Trail 100 Ken Chlouber and Merilee Maupin, Ken and Merilee started the Leadville Trail 100 in 1983 with 45 runners and have grown the race series into what it is today an iconic series of events where athletes travel from around the world to compete in the “Race Across the Sky”. Ken has notched 14 finishes of the Leadville 100 and knows the course like the back of his hand.
The night also includes raffles and free giveaways including a Leadville Trail 100 entry.
Interested runners will also receive a 10 percent on-site registration discount for remaining open events in the Leadville Race Series including the Austin Rattler on April 10th, the Leadville Trail Marathon and Heavy Half Marathon on June 18th, Silver Rush 50 mile Run Race on July 10th and the 10K run on August 14th.
