Janus Cycle Group, the parent company of Merlin Metalworks, DEAN Titanium & Knight Composites is seeking an enthusiastic individual that is looking to combine their passion for cycling as part of their career. We are seeking a self-starter to join our team in a role of Frame Builder within our Production Department. Headquartered in Boulder Colorado, DEAN Titanium and Merlin Metalworks has been a leading U.S. manufacture of high end titanium bicycles for over 30 years.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Frame Manufacturing
Manufacture titanium frames
Assemble and manufacture all components that are used in the production of titanium frames
Comply with all manufacturing safety standards
Participate in the finishing steps of frame production (sanding, drilling, slotting, etc.)
Follow standardized work instructions and produce frames at the required rate within the required safety standards
Skills and Requirements:
Safety First – work safely
Produce quality bike frames at the required rate
Become familiar with all manufacturing processes
Education/Experience/Background:
At least one year of fabrication, skilled labor, or mechanic experience preferred
Bike mechanic or bike industry experience a plus
Proven mechanical aptitude
Lean manufacturing experience & understanding
In-depth knowledge of bicycles a plus
