CU Needs Female Cyclists for Study on Shoes and Power Output

Female Cyclists needed for a Biomechanics Study!

The Locomotion Lab of the Integrative Physiology Department at CU-Boulder is  conducting a new study to test the effect of road cycling shoes on power output. Our experiments will involve riding a series of 50 meter sprints on an uphill road in Boulder, Colorado. 

To be eligible for either one or both of these studies, you must be: 
-18+ years old 
– In good health 
– Cycle (outdoors or indoors) at least 4 hours per week 
– Have at least one year of road biking experience 
– Wear Euro shoe sizes 39-40
– Be able to fit either a 52cm or 56cm frame 

The study consists of 1 visit which will take up to 2 hours. 
The experiments are completely non-invasive. Participants will receive a $25 Amazon gift card for their participation in each testing session.
