OZ Road Race
May 6, 2017
– Reid Neureiter
The OZ Road Race has two key defining characteristics; long and wide open! You’re not in Kansas anymore toto. Come May 6th get ready for the longest road race of the spring season.
What makes this course so exciting is it’s close proximity to Denver and Colorado Springs, but also easily accessible from the Boulder and Ft. Collins regions. The course will also flow true to road race form with all right hand corners on this loop route, and includes a 1 mile long gravel road section.
Distance will be based on the category you race and entry fee price will reflect the distance raced. Pretty simple math, race a shorter distance and pay less money.
Course information: A single-loop 32.5 mile with a short out and back section at the start and finish! Terrain is mostly flat with some rollers mixed in, but the biggest challenge will be your competition, the distance, a mile of dirt, and some tumbleweed blowing across the course.
Start Times for your category: Please click the category & checklist tab. Pre-registered riders and race day registrations must pick up your number 40min prior to the start of your race.
Chip timing: This event is a chip timed event
