Canyon City, Fremont Adventure Recreation is proud and excited to announce the second annual Royal 50 / Gorgeous 25 Mountain Bike Races. This epic ride, which will take place on the newest jewel in Cañon City’s crown – the Royal Gorge Park Trails – takes you across singletrack trails that offer flowy fun and technical challenges. Two-day festival includes food, music, beer, and trail runs.

Breck 100

Welcome to Colorado’s premier off-road endurance race, the 15th annual Breckenridge 100. This incredible course climbs 13,000 feet over 92 miles.  Not quite ready for the Ultra?  Race the Marathon distance 100K, the XC distance 32 mile loop; or enter a two or three-person relay team.  Part of the NUE – National Ultra Endurance Series.

“You’ve done the rest, now take the test.” It’s waiting for you on Saturday July 13th. Featuring a sprawling course nestled between 3 ski resorts; participants are treated with a unique combination of beauty and challenge.  The unique cloverleaf style loops bring you back through Carter Park before embarking on your next challenge.

We’ve linked together an amazing network of backcountry trails, roads, double track and bike paths that will take you beyond your typical boundaries. From start to finish, you will be both pampered and pushed to your limit at the same time. You’ll cross the Continental Divide three times, climb 12,000 foot passes, and forge high mountain streams while returning to the support and encouragement of staff, friends and teammates who are waiting for you in historic downtown Breckenridge.

Growdy Grinder

Curt Gowdy State Park, WY

In 2018, The annual Gowdy Grinder was offered to WyoX whereby the proceeds could be used to fund high school mountain bike racing (entry fees, yearly registration, etc).  This is why there’s been a website change.  The Wyoming State Parks and Recreation has given us the thumbs up to hold this race on June 8th, 2019.

For some in the region, Curt Gowdy State Park’s unique and beautiful trail system is where cross country mountain bike racing season begins! The Gowdy Grinder consists of a short, medium and long loop, used in combination, to deliver fun and challenging courses for every category from Beginner to Open. The heart of the race lies at the Start/Finish line where spectators and pit crews get to enjoy food and refreshments while they’re cheering on the racers as they grind out the laps. On site camping, along with miles of non-race trails for hiking, boating and an archery range makes this event a weekend long funfest for all!

ERock Sunrise to Sunset MTB Race

Castle Rock

Sunrise to Sunset Elephant Rock began as a 24-hour race back in the day. We’ve since decided that 12 hours is plenty!

The course is designed to be fun and approachable. If you aren’t a highly technical mountain biker, don’t worry! The level of challenge is really determined by how fast you go.
