2019 Ride Like a Girl; The Third Annual Colorado Women’s Ride Day
August 4, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Celebrating women cyclists with women-led road & mountain bike rides for all abilities
Sunday, August 4th
Tony Grampsas Memorial Sports Complex, 4471 Salvia, Golden
Wheels up at 8:30am
Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned veteran, a roadie or mountain biker, join us for one of five fun women-led rides. Return from the ride to drinks and a fabulous brunch by The Basted Egg.
The first 75 registered receive a “Ride Like a Girl” glass filled with goodies!
Upon arrival, Chenelle from High Brew will be serving up delicious cold brew coffee. Riders will meet their ride leaders and head out for no-drop rides.
After riding, cyclists return to mimosas, bloody marys and brunch. Andrea Holt from Cycle Massage Therapy will be offering chair massages and representatives from various cycling organizations will be on hand. After leading one of the rides, Stacey Mulligan of Bicycle Colorado will be sharing her experiences as a pro racer and talking about training, nutrition, advocacy and more. Besides scoring prizes and swag, this is a great chance for women to connect with other cyclists, and learn more about cycling opportunities in the area.. We’ll also have plenty of prize drawings!
A portion of proceeds will benefit young cyclists in the Colorado High School Cycling League.
Please note that you can change your ride group, even on the morning of the ride!
ALL rides are no-drop. We want everyone to enjoy riding in a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere. (Click the ride title for the strava link.)
