Colorado’s largest consumer bike show, the Primal Colorado Bike Expo will be expanded and improved for 2016 as it moves to a new outdoor venue at Sports Authority Field on Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th.
Last year, the Primal Colorado Bike Expo was held at the Colorado Convention Center and attracted over 110 exhibitors including Primal, SRAM, Bianchi and Skratch Labs.
In its second year, the Primal Colorado Bike Expo will be held in conjunction with the Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon Health + Wellness Expo going on simultaneously which will attract over 30,000 athletes to Sports Authority Field during those two days. Read more
As I’m writing this, the event ended just a few hours ago and I’m still reeling in excitement that I was able to witness a world record being set at the US Olympic Training Center Velodrome in Colorado Springs! On January 22nd, 2016, Bridie O’Donnell rode 46.882km in Adelaide, Australia to set what was the record. On February 27, 2016, Evelyn Stevens set out to smash that. Read more

This past fall we moved our family of seven – two driving, skiing, debris-trailing teenagers; three large 80-pound, kibbel-eating-and-forever-pooping dogs; “never-throw-anything-away” fix-it-handyman husband; and me – multisport enthusiast with n+1 bikes, seeking order and an indoor parking spot.
For the first time we had a three car garage, and the possibility to finally organize all the STUFF while at the same time carving out actual protected parking space. But I knew I couldn’t do it alone. I rung up my old pal Katie Macarelli at Feedback Sports, and said, “I need not only to figure out proper hooks on which to hang my bikes, but I need advice on what to put where, and a swift kick in the backside to get it all done…”
