    It should be no surprise that Colorado, a state that is internationally recognized as a cycling mecca, is also home to many authors who focus on cycling and outdoor recreation. The Primal Colorado Bike Expo will be highlighting some of these authors on Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th, in the Community Tent.             The 2016 Primal Colorado Bike Expowill be held Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14 in Lot J on the west side of Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

            Exhibitors will include fantastic Colorado-based brands … sponsorships, along with exhibitor fees, not only make this event possible but they will also allow us to make financial contributions to some great local bike organizations.

            Beneficiaries for this year are Wish For Wheels, Trips for Kids Denver Metro, and the Colorado High School Cycling League, who will be providing the Expo with their wonderful volunteers…

                      The Bob Cook Memorial Mt Evans Hill Climb is an iconic bicycle race that takes place on the highest paved road in the United States – 14,264 feet above sea level. It was run for the first time in 1962, and has run consecutively, with the exception of 3 times, so this is considered the 51st year of the event! The race was renamed in 1981 in honor of five-time race winner Bob Cook, who died of cancer at the age of 23.

                      One of the most challenging events in the country, it has a rich and inspiring history.
