Build Cycling Academy Announces Mountain Bike Team for Junior Cyclists

BUILD Sports Performance Lab and Physical Therapy is pleased to announce the launch of their new BUILD Cycling Academy Mountain Bike Team. The BUILD Cycling Academy is designed to provide a positive and engaging cycling experience that accelerates the growth of all athletes in the program. The MTB team is a performance focused program for aspiring young athlete seeking success in the MTB discipline.

The season will run from March 30th, 2020 through July 12th, 2020, culminating with the USA Cycling Nationals at Winter Park, CO. Athletes will participate in two to three training sessions per week and will receive team support at team races. Jeff Winkler, the head coach of the program, has thirty-three years of experience in cycling as a competitor, trainer, and coach and is also a level one USA Cycling Certified coach. The program will implement a low athlete to coach ratio to maximize one on one contact and mentorship during practices and races.

The BUILD Cycling Academy strives to not only maximize athletic performance and be the hub of team building, but also integrate its three core values, courage to take on difficult challenges of life, character to become a solid human beings and community involvement to give back to the community we Love.

Located on Louisville’s historic Main Street, BUILD Cycling Academy’s facility will be home for our team events in our community room and athlete performance services to include physiological testing, biomechanical analysis, coaching, and physical therapy.
