Accounting/Administrative Assistant: PUSH Industries

 

Our company is looking for an accounts assistant to support the Director of Operations with day to day operations. The successful candidate will possess exceptional organizational and time management skills and experience working successfully in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities will include maintaining and completing files and records as needed, assisting with accounts payable and receivable duties, and providing general administrative support to the management team. Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail. Duties Will Include:
-Assist Director of Operations in recording and maintaining Operational statistics
-Responsible for entering vendor invoices and processing Accounts Payable
-Responsible for processing Accounts Receivable to include daily batching and reconciliation of Receivables
-Phone/E-mail communication with vendors, as needed
-Update and maintain accounts database
-Track and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies, as needed
-Complete bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly tax returns and payments
-Filing and records maintenance
-General administrative support to the Director of Operations and the CEO
-Perform additional administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
-Minimum high-school diploma (Associates degree in Accounting-related study is preferred)
-Must be 18 years old
-QuickBooks experience preferred
-Strong Microsoft Office skills (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel)
-Available to work full time Monday through Friday
-Strong interpersonal skills for working in a collaborative environment
-Calm under pressure
