Every once in awhile we here at 303 want to showcase some of the amazingness we have in our community. Sometimes it will be an event, sometimes it will be a team and sometimes it might be a shout out to a person. Either way, it’s just the down and dirty. Just the parts you need to know. Get in and get out.
Team ten20 Women’s Cycling Team
WHAT: Kick off/Informational Meeting
WHEN: January 28th 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: ten20-a nail and waxing spa: 2005 Pearl Street Boulder
HOW: Go to the meeting. Meet a bunch of amazing and passionate women. Drink a beverage, have a snack, check out the kits and ask questions.
WHY: Are you looking for a truly inclusive group of women who love bikes? This team is for you. There are NO racing requirements. There are NO mileage requirements. The team mission is to encourage, enable, and educate women on the saddle.
PERSONAL PITCH: I was a part of this team and I can tell you that the women are kind, friendly and welcoming. There’s a place for everyone. Be motivated. Be inspired. Join a team this year. Try it. You might love it.
