Abandoned bikes and other personal items not related to bike commuting are clogging shelters and taking away Bike shelter cleanup from their purpose of providing safe and secure weather protected bicycle storage for commuters making connections to and from local or regional transit routes.

Users may store one operable bicycle and bicycle accessories for up to 30 days at a time in a shelter. Storage of other unrelated personal items is prohibited. If your bike has been tagged as abandoned, you have 30 days to remove it from the shelter before it will be removed and disposed of.
