2013 Trax-n-Trails Bike Challenge

Help support the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) by taking part in Trax-n-Trails, June 22, 2013, at Winter Park Resort! Cross country mountain bike enthusiasts of all ability levels have an opportunity to challenge themselves in the Elite Race, or opt for a more leisurely route in the Recreational Ride on the amazing trails at Winter Park Resort and Trestle Bike Park. Festivities include a bike decorating contest and parade at the base of the Resort for the kids, music and great food while fundraising to support therapeutic recreation and adaptive sports programs.

The NSCD is recognized around the world as a premier therapeutic recreation organization, providing leadership and expertise in adaptive sports. Each year more than 3,000 children and adults with disabilities participate in our programs to learn more about sports and themselves. With specially trained staff and volunteers, and its own adaptive equipment lab, the NSCD teaches a variety of winter and summer sports and activities to individuals with almost any physical, cognitive, emotional or behavioral diagnosis. Proceeds from this event enable us to continue these programs and enrich the lives of our participants.
