Tommy D's Winning Edge

I actually thought this was a joke. I thought Tommy Ds winning edge was doping. What a joke.

With balls that big, how does he sit on a bike seat. I too thought this was a joke. I think we forget sometimes that these athletes are on trial for cheating...breaking the "rules". They are not on trial for "being a nice guy". Who cares how nice they are. He cheated, lied about it, got caught and now expects people to believe it was "core strength". This guy must have an ego the size of Texas and integrity the size of Rhode Island, as is true for most any athlete who cheats IMO.

I think there is a huge distinction between cheating and cheating and trying to destroy people.
Its a sport.
Cheating isn't good by any means but it doesn't meant they should be burned at the stake, which is how some of these posts sound.

Fun way to spend time when you a serving a doping suspension

Glad to see Tom is keeping busy during his 6 month suspension for doping. I think he would sell a lot more books if he talked about how PEDs made him a better racer. Did Tom ever confess to doping, like some of the others did (other than what's in the USADA testimony)?

Life is seldom black and white, knucklehead.
Not all dopers suck.
Not everyone makes 100% perfect decisions and not all decisions are so simple.
Remember this as you take an extra puff off of your inhaler or cut a cone in your next TT.
In the end, press and forums aside, its about being a decent person.
Is he? Who knows? I'll give Tom, and you, the benefit of the doubt.
He seems like a decent guy.

Right and many things are subjective

You may believe that after all is said and done Tom is still a good guy, and that is your opinion. I do see the point you are making
In my view he has a deep hole to dig out of so he'd have to donate a kidney during the suspension period for me to change my view.

Sorry, Jeff, but not everyone

Sorry, Jeff, but not everyone is taking puffs off inhalers or cutting corners on TTs. I'm very sorry for you that you haven't learned anything about ethics/morals/choices/consequences.

I think the point is that

I think the point is that they're tough competitors and, when caught in a culture of doping, it doesn't seem like such a big deal - especially when your threatened with your career. Self righteous people posting anonymously on a forum and taking personal shots a these guys is about as cool as doping.
Just one guys opinion.
