The 2013 Colorado Mini Classic - What a Weekend - 135 Racers from 12 States and 2 Other Countries!

The race brought together 135 athletes and their families for a fast and fun weekend in beautiful Silt, Colorado. Athletes travelled from 12 states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, California, Utah, New Mexico, Minnesota, New York, Texas, Georgia and Colorado; and two countries: Brazil and Kuwait, to test themselves on the roads of the Colorado River Valley.

IMMEDIATE CHANGES TO MORGUL BISMARK ROAD RACE: Dear Athletes we regret to inform you that tomorrow's Morgul Bismark has been modified due to extreme circumstances. At 10:00am on Friday morning Highway Technologies closed all their national operations, with no fore notice to their regional offices. Highway Technologies is responsible for all the road closures, traffic barricades, cones creating separate lanes on highway 93, etc

Race Monday - BRAC keeps the Colorado Mini Classic alive

News Item: 

The Colorado Mini Classic is the revival of a stage race for juniors that began in the 1980s with the Red Zinger and Coors Classic Stage Races. The originial Mini Classics helped launch the careers of Bobby Julich, Jonathan Vaughters, Clark Sheehan, Ruthie Matthes, Colby Pearce and many other cycling legends.
