This month, the Boulder Public Library is displaying an exhibit on the Red Zinger, with old photos, newspaper clippings and race brochures, on the bridge over Boulder Creek in the main library branch.

"This is really a Boulder story -- that's one of the things that really turned me on about it," said Douglas Lee, a professional writer who put together the display in collaboration with the Carnegie Branch Library for Local History.

Tom's dinner menu before his stage 3 victory

Team kitchen, a rolling Garmin Gourmet unit, is being operated by Barb Grealish, who is one of the few Gluten free tour chefs on the road. While the video below is not from this years USPCC, you get an idea of what they do. To learn more about how they roll, check out argyleteamkitchen.wordpress.com/ Here is a snippet

Chef Barb pulled into Crested Butte after an almost 3 hour transfer from Telluride. The final 1/2 mile was probably the hardest because all of team buses and event staff got stuck in the same line as the spectators and didn’t move. The volunteers were doing an excessive fantastic job stopping traffic! We all finally pulled into the other lane and went forward. That is very stressful when you are trying to beat the race and get all the pre-prep ready.

What you need to know for Stage 6

News Item:

Saturday is going to be extremely fun and bike centric, but to keep your fun level up and frustration level down watch the video below explaining some of the "need to knows" like parking (but who will be driving). 303Cycling will be in downtown Boulder (15th and Pearl) announcing next to a giant JumboTran as we interview the Mayor and talk to Michael Aisner while he is out on course. We will also be at the CandyShop on 15th street. As mentioned in the video USAPro Boulder has created an interactive website yet at the time of posting this map does not seem to be operating correctly. Also know, to get onto Flagstaff you will need a wristband, learn how you can get a Flagstaff wristband and for those not going to Flagstaff, here are time estimates of when they will be where on stage 6. While this should not need be stated, be mindful of the racers on course, this is not the Basque region, you do not need think you are living like a euro. We can rise above this.
